In her words, ”When I think of how esteemed but yet unique and strange Mary’s situation was I can’t help but join the writer of the song (Mark Lowry) and also pose the question “Mary did you know?”… I wonder if in that moment in time, when the angel appeared to Mary and announced to her that she had been chosen to give birth to the long awaited Savior- Jesus if she understood fully what she had been signed up for…I know the miracles and testimonies might not have surprised her did she know Jesus would go to the cross? Did she know that the boy she carried, cared for, loved would pay the ultimate price for all of humanity?
